• The activities of this stage are the functional, graphical design, technical and database designs, preparation of the use cases, workflow diagrams, and data dictionary
• The design specifications and detailed system architecture are then presented to the customer for approval
• The development stage begins after the design is approved and lasts until the project is finished
• The activities of this stage are forming of the Data Access Object (DAO) Class SQLs, Class Diagram + class skeleton, and Action Diagram; testing of the new database structure and DAOs; page designs; application development; system tests; determining test scenarios; integration; hardware and software installation; regulating the security requirements; testing and implementation plans
